Xpad II

Ophthalmic lenses are manufactured with a wide range of coatings to prevent scratches, reflections, grease, and moisture. These coatings are designed to provide people with greater visual comfort. However, a common challenge is attaching a blocking pad to the lenses.

XPad II is specifically designed to address this issue. With a high conformable closed cell foam that better conforms the convex side of the lens, this blocking pad increases the adhesion surface. Equipped with an improved hybrid adhesive layer, XPad II performs exceptionally well on almost all common lens coatings, even on lenses that are notoriously hard to stick from Asian companies. This ensures that your glasses stay in place during the edging process, providing you with the confidence that they won't slip.

Please note that this pad is suitable for almost all lens coatings except uncoated lenses. In many ways, XPad II is the successor to our "one pad fits (almost) all" solution.

Temperature resistance:	-40ºC up to 100ºC
Shelf Life:	12 months from dispatch when stored in original cartons between 10ºC to 35ºC and under 50% relative humidity
